Tonnerfest Parsons Doll Chair Craft

We have been enjoying the Virtual Doll Convention's Tonnerfest this month-- the videos have been fun and interesting to watch, and there was a free pattern for an outfit (Bucket List for Ellowynne Wilde) and  a free pattern/instruction video for a Parsons chair. We sat down today to try out this craft.

The craft was designed by Diana Lemieux of Matilda Pink and the video can be found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3hXjRQuCh7s . For this craft, you need foam board, batting, fabric, and a hot glue gun. Janet had a blue fabric with gold marbling that I found at the quilt store, and Kairi used a fabulous fabric from JoAnn that is inspired by Van Gogh's Starry Night (one of our favorite paintings).

Making the chair was pretty fiddly, but the video was helpful and Diana was very encouraging through the process! We might try making scaled down versions in the future for our smaller dolls. We rate it 10 out of 10, we'd make it again!
